WHAT IS AN ESOP?
Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) are a type of retirement plan that allow employees to become part-owners of the company they work for. Employees who participate in an ESOP accumulate company shares in their ESOP accounts over time as part of their compensation package - they never have to contribute any funds themselves to purchase shares.
When they retire or leave the company, they can request a distribution which cashes out the shares at their current market value.
Not only does the ESOP provide retirement benefits to employees, it promotes an ownership culture among employees who now receive direct financial benefits based on company performance and, by extension, their work!

An ESOP is a type of retirement account that is 100% sponsored by the employer. Employees are awarded company stock shares annually where the investment grows tax-free until distribution.
Our ESOP is open to every employee in the company. And is available at no cost to them.
We do have a vesting period of 3 years. After that, you can seek a distribution if you leave the company or retire.
No. The ESOP is funded entirely by your employer. We do offer a 401K with a match that you can participate in if you want to save more for retirement.
Your ESOP account is a retirement benefit. You will be eligible to make withdrawals after age 65.
Nothing! The ESOP is 100% sponsored by the employer.
